❤️🇮🇹Posted on Google

Dulaj Wishwa16 September 2026We had a very enjoyable experience here. The atmosphere was wonderful, with Italian music playing in the background and a charming setting that made us feel like we were dining in Italy. We visited at lunchtime without a reservation and were seated immediately without any waiting. Parking is available on the surrounding streets, although spaces can be limited depending on the time of day. The food was delicious, the drinks were excellent, and the prices were reasonable for the quality and experience offered. A special thank you to Suzan, who took care of us throughout our visit. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience with great food, good drinks, and a warm Italian atmosphere. We would happily return and highly recommend it.Posted on Google

Posted on Google

Adrian13 February 2026We had dinner at a spacious, elegant trattoria with a warm and lively atmosphere that made the evening feel special. One of us ordered Spaghetti Carbonara, which was perfectly al dente and coated in a creamy, rich sauce with a savory depth that wasn’t too heavy. The other chose Spaghetti Quattro Formaggi, and it was wonderfully indulgent—smooth, cheesy, and full of flavor, with each cheese blending beautifully without overpowering the dish. For dessert, we shared a light and well-balanced tiramisu with a bold espresso flavor. Combined with attentive service and a welcoming setting, it was a memorable dining experience we’d happily repeat.Posted on Google

Dulaj Wishwa16 September 2026A Little Taste of Italy in Bucharest 🇮🇹 We had a very enjoyable experience here. We would happily return and highly recommend it.Posted on Tripadvisor

Alexandra D28 October 2025A Magical Day We’ll Always Remember It was an absolutely wonderful experience! The decor looked like a fairytale, full of light and color, and it captured our hearts from the very first moment. We chose the location near Carol Park, more precisely this restaurant’s elegant hall. The food was delicious, the service impeccable, and the warm, refined atmosphere made our civil wedding day even more beautiful than we had imagined. All our guests were impressed, and we are deeply grateful and happy that we chose this special place. We will definitely return here for future important events in our lives!Posted on Tripadvisor

Was only 5 mins from our accommodation but would be worth the walk if we were further away. Cannot fault anything with this place. Simply the best meal we had in Bucharest the whole holiday. Service was also fantastic, very attentive and helpful. Can't really comment on atmosphere as we were there on a quiet midweek night.Posted on Tripadvisor

Posted on Tripadvisor

I’ve been here multiple times for cozy dinners, sunny lunches, and even business meetings, and it never disappoints. Whether you’re planning a romantic date or a professional lunch, the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between elegance and warmth. The service is always attentive and professional, and the food? Simply outstanding. Every dish is full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. The drinks and desserts are just as impressive, everything is on point. It’s the kind of place you keep coming back to, knowing it will always rise to the occasion.Posted on Tripadvisor
Gloria L7 February 2025Good, Italian advice (for what I got) I am Italian, and I must say that unlike many restaurants abroad they say Italian and then far from it, this struck me. Focaccia is better than most Italians. Then I got some clam noodles and mint and they were really good! Flat a little poor, but really good!! I must say that I had seen the menu before from the internet, and the prices are much lower than the menu that they then take you to the place. Finally, the tiramisu, very sweet and vanilla, I appreciated that it was homemade, with a lot of mascarpone and soft ladyfingers, I felt little coffee but, for an Italian restaurant abroad, I can not complainPosted on Tripadvisor

I took it with grilled vegetables, also good.Beef salad good taste.Serving was attentive.Prices were good.We will come back to try more dishes.Posted on Tripadvisor
Adrian D.5 August 2018Great place It is always a pleasure to come back here at Trattoria Garibaldi. The food is refined and tasteful, the personnel is friendly and the lovely terrace with flowers and vegetation is the perfect place to spend enjoyable summer afternoon in a cosy, relaxed atmosphere.Posted on Tripadvisor22RA198229 July 2018Probably the best pizza I’ve ever eaten... .... and I’ve just spent a month in Italy! Recommended by the hostel I was staying in nearby. Will return whenever I’m next in Bucharest.Posted on Tripadvisor
vladimirdeliu23 July 2018Decent local restaurant It's not really a genuine Italian restaurant, but it can do for a dinner in two. Pasta are quite tasty in honest portions. Posted on TripadvisorMaria A3 March 2018The perfect Italian choice I frequently go for dinner at Garibaldi and it's never dissapointing. Everything I have ordered was delicious and they are currently adding more dishes to the menu, which is great news! The atmosphere is always cosy, peaceful and welcoming and the service is very good- polite, nice waiters and bartenders. It is unfortunate that they do not always have everything on the menu, especially the desserts, which are freshly-made and really tasty. The prices are just as the other Italian restaurants' but I consider the quality of their food rather higher than the other trattorias' in Bucharest. It's a pity that few have heard of this restaurant, even though it's only 15 minutes away on foot from the Old City Centre of Bucharest.Posted on Tripadvisor
Posted on TripadvisorTri L1 October 2017Italian Lunch Nice little restaurant in a hidden street. Nice atmosphere and design. The menu was comprehensive and the food was delicious. I ordered the chicken soup, it was a bit bland, but the chicken was delicious. The lasagna was my main entree and it was delicious, came boiling in a hot bowl. The table I was seated was on a slant and it was a bit disruptive. It got cold outside, but they have heaters, so that was ok.Posted on Tripadvisordorinmarius22 August 2017Best pasta in town One of the best pasta and pizza in Bucharest. If you forget the Autan , there is available im the location for free. Thanks Claudiu for the service and kidnes , we are gladly come back to Garibaldi Trattoria.Posted on Tripadvisor

Posted on Tripadvisor
Vasile G30 July 2017Nice terrace & good food I have tried this restaurant for dinner and it was amazing, the pasta was exquisite and the wine recomanded by the host match the pasta really nice. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.Posted on TripadvisorIulia R1 May 2017Hidden gem on small streets The visit was great, the atmospehre also. The restaurant is in an old traditional Bucharest house. It has a lovely terrace and friendly help. The place is clean and has an extensive menu. The prices are a little high, but you can find good specific Italian food.I gave it 4, because the fish that I order was to cooked and the sparanghel the same. However the lasagna that my date ordered was good, just that it had to much tomato sauce.Posted on Tripadvisor
BT_CurryClub9 April 2017BT Curry Club visit to Trattoria Garibaldi - 8 April, 2017 The BT Curry Club visited Trattoria Garibaldi on Saturday 8 April 2017, after a long walk through Tineretului and Carol Parks. The team was hungry and thirsty on arrival. We arrived late afternoon, between lunchtime and dinner time. It just stated to rain, so we encamped inside. It was a little quiet, given the timing, but the atmosphere was friendly and the staff were very pleased to see us.We started with drinks and made a number of requests from cold beer on draught to hot tea in a pot. All were well presented, but the highlight was probably the Minty Cooler, which was prepared with great skill and expertise. After a long walk, the team wanted to bulk up. No time for fancy starters, although available. Everyone ordered 500g pizzas. The pizzas delivered were excellent, with crispy bases and smothered in fresh ingredients. The Garibali pizzas with strong cheese and cured meats with crispy salad vegetables were excellent. The extra sauces were proper sweet and picante sauces, not some runny ketchups. Nobody finished their pizzas and packets were arranged, so members could continue grazing at their leisure in the evening.Listed below are our scores for Trattoria Garibaldi:Location: 3/5Service: 5/5Cleanliness: 4/5Atmosphere: 3.5/5Value: 4/5Drinks: 4.5/5Mains: 4.5/5Extras: 3.5/5Overall score: 8.0/10Although Trattoria Garibaldi is a little off the beaten track, it is not so far from Piata Unirii. The staff were extremely helpful and the food was great. The BT Curry Club strongly recommends Trattoria Garibaldi, especially with an extra sos picante.Posted on TripadvisorAndrewPop8420 February 2017The best pizza and pasta in town This last weekend it was a rainy weather in Bucharest. Me and my friends wanted some pasta and pizza, so we decided to choose an italian restaurant. One of my frineds told us that he knows a good resturant just at 5 mnutes distance from Unirii Square. So, went to Garibaldi. A cozy restaurant, very italian way, a lot of wood, and we served some pizza and pasta. I have choosed Pizza Garibaldi and I can say it was delicious! We order some wine and beer (Birra Moretti) and I can say it was a good evening. In the end I want to recommand you the Tort Krantz, a big slice and incredible good. I will come back for sure in this location, I'm expecting the summer 'cause i've heard they have a lovely terrace.Posted on Tripadvisor
Oany I23 January 2017Best home made pasta The waiter was a very nice guy and offered us some recommendations, the owner came by and asked us if we were happy with the food and the food was great. They had a wide range of teas (since i'm not a drinker this was a big plus) and the place was very welcoming. They had some small flowers and candles on every table.Posted on Tripadvisor
Violeta I22 January 2017Great food! I finished a great meal with a delicious Chocolate souffle! The ice cream served with the souffle is made in house! Many options for a vegetarian, this made me very happy :)Great for an anniversary with friends.Posted on TripadvisorI see C18 January 2017Excellent Italian food Went there a few nights ago with some friends. After checking the menu(which is all-rounder italian food) we've ordered pastas and pizzas. Our order arrived quite fast and the food was really good. The inside of the restaurant makes you feel more like in a home than in a restaurant per se , the decorations are quite good and fit well the warm atmosphere in there. They even got a nice looking terrace which is closed during the cold season but I imagined that it would've been great to sit there and enjoy a wine or a beer in a warm summer night. You should give it a go if you want to escape from the crowded center into a relaxed experience.Posted on Tripadvisor
Ioana P5 December 2016A small piece of Italia in the middle of crowded Bucharest The area is quite nice and the place is really cozy. In the inside of the restaurant we found some good quality decorations. The staff was really polite and friendly. Above all, the food was on top and we had a great experience there. I can.t wait for the summer to drink a Mojito on the terrace.Posted on Tripadvisor

Juha M8 February 2016Good Italian experience Garibaldi is a small Italian restaurant a little way off from the center in a small street between Unirii and Tineretului. I had a lunch with my friend enjoying tasty beef scaloppine and spinach as a side. They also made nice cocktails. I'm always happy to enjoy some aperitif and digestifs (and duringtifs) on a holiday. The place is nice and cozy and service is friendly. The restaurant has a small covered terrace. Definately an under-rated hidden restaurant and worthwhile to visit.Posted on Tripadvisor
Bogdan Mate9 November 2015Cozy little place A little restaurant located in a quiet area of downtown Bucharest. Amazingly how people get to it because there is no tourist interest nearby.Good food and friendly staff. A major problem for non smokers is that it seems there is no room for them - a legal breach in Romania. The air exhaust system is poor and there is heavy smoke inside when all the tables are taken.Posted on Tripadvisor
Cristian C6 August 2015Nice restaurant in a quiet location Good food at reasonable prices. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is located in quiet neighborhood. The terrace is very nice when the weather is good.Posted on Tripadvisor
Silvia G27 June 2015best cheesecake in Bucharest! this is a small restaurant, with a nice little terace outside.the staff is very friendly and helpful. the food is great, they serve fresh mussles in wine sauce, very good pizza, pastas, also the risotto is very good. they have a nice big burger with home made bread wich is very nice. also, they serve the best cheesecake ever, along with other tasteful desserts. there is no smoking area, which sometimes can be bad if you are with children but during summer we always stay on the terrace and it is perfect. definitely recommend it.Posted on TripadvisorNab7125 May 2015Très bonne surprise Le restaurant était plus ou moins le seul dans le quartier et lorsque nous y sommes rentrés il n'y avait pas foule (c'était un dimanche soir). Enorme!Posted on Tripadvisor
George T8 May 2015The Italian falvour of Bucharest If you like Italian food, like pizza, pasta or lasagna, you will certainly love this small but exquisite restaurant from the heart of Bucharest. Situated south from the Union Square, it offers fine Italian cuisine almost as if you were in the Peninsula. During summer, you can also eat outside, which is great especially at night. It is worth trying!Posted on Tripadvisor
Renel Dobre20 April 2015Great place Been for couple of days in Bucharest I visited again this nice spot Tip: soups are made on request( fresh ) in exchange be prepared to waiting 15-20 min but worth to waiting for.Staffing is friendly and polite PRICE are mid range but Food is delicios. in the warmer period they have a nice teracce were NON-smokers can enjoy as well.Place is having Philosophy of "Festina Lente" eat slow S-o if you are expectaing Fast-Food service( time ) this is not the kind of place. For sure will come back.Posted on Tripadvisor
CristiTurcin8 February 2015Cozy and chill italian retreat I eat here one of the best pizza in Bucharest, all the ingredients are fresh and natural, also consider seafood. Stuff is always helpful and there for you, a cozy and chill italian retreat from the too crowded turist hotspot. In summer they open a beautiful terrace. They are also Vespa friendly and you'll get connection for Vespa local clubs.Posted on Tripadvisor
sebastianmoise8 February 2015Excelent quality in everything The place looks good, the garden even better (only oppened in warm weather) but the quality of foods and sweets beats many other more expensive places.Posted on Tripadvisor
